Collard river bridge reopened to traffic late afternoon on the 24th January 2015
Shareholder and volunteer Andy Hearn inspecting the completed work.
The new bridge from the upstream side.
The S W Highways site staff have advised us that the bridge has been tested to 56 tonnes and considering that you can’t actually get an articulated lorry down the lane that should be more than ample.
There is a bit more tidying up to do before our adjacent field (which the contractors have been using) is handed back to us during the next week.

Good to have it back, not as pretty as the old one, but functional.
