See you at Warley?

Next weekend Exmoor Associates will have a small presence at Warley Model Railway exhibition at the NEC Birmingham. We have thousands of EA leaflets ready to give out to any interested passers by, and we’ll also have leaflets from the L&B. Do come along and say hello, we will be found alongside visiting locomotive Gertrude (who featured in our 2009 shareholders’ outing to Exmoor Steam Railway), and we will have several of our shareholders manning the ship to talk with visitors and answer questions.

L&B Autumn Gala Report

This weekend EA has had a table with information at the L&B’s gala at Woody Bay. The table was in the marquee on Moorlands’ lawn, alongside displays about Exmoor Enterprise and the Heritage Coaches.

Why were the bridges destroyed?

A couple of months ago, Exmoor Associates acquired a new section of L&B trackbed, taking us up to the former bridge 16 – Blackwell Bridge, on the River Yeo. Bridge 16, as is also the case with Bridge 17 at our next section of land (Collard Bridge), was destroyed during World War Two.
